The Bertoia Diamond Chair from Knoll was designed by Harry Bertoia in 1952. The chair is part of Bertoia's popular collection of sculpted steel furniture. The seat is created from welded, solid steel bars and is supported by a base with steel medallions. The Bertoia Diamond Chair is available in a variety of finishes, with a simple seat cushion or fully upholstered and padded front. A choice of fabrics for the upholstery is available. The Bertoia Diamond Chair is available for both indoor and outdoor use.
Bertoia was mostly known as a sculptor and designed only one furniture collection. Although he did not work primarily as an interior designer, his paintings were highly appreciated and are still sold around the world today.
