The Platner Side Chair was designed by Warren Platner for Knoll in 1966. The chair is made of welded steel rods, which generate a moiré effect, unique to the Platner Side Chair. All metal components have been finished in bright nickel or a matte metallic bronze and are covered with a transparent protective lacquer coating. The upholstery is available in several colors.

The chair can be used both as a dining chair or at the desk and has a comfortable upholstered seat with velvet upholstery, alternatively circa. The collection also includes a side chair, stool, and dining and coffee tables. Platner Side Chair is an incredibly comfortable chair with a soft feel. Furnish advantageously with several similar chairs around the Platner Dining Table. The chair is a favorite with us at Nordiska Galleriet and we are happy to furnish with it in our exhibition. Thanks to its soft impression and high level of comfort, the Platner Side Chair is a modern classic.
