9602 Floor Lamp Pierre Frey Special Edition is a floor lamp from GUBI that is now being launched in an exclusive version in collaboration with the long-standing Parisian textile house Maison Pierre Frey. The floor lamp, also known as the "Chinese Hat", was originally designed in 1935 for the Hotel Aulanko in Helsinki by Paavo Tynell. It is one of the Finnish lighting master's most acclaimed works and an excellent example of his skillful ability to create both timeless and functional design.
This special edition is designed with a pleated cotton screen in the Le Jardin de Palais pattern by Pierre Frey. The playful and dreamlike pattern in combination with the Finnish, strict design language creates an exciting contrast. The collaboration is launched exclusively at Nordiska Galleriet.
