The PK55 table was designed by Poul Kjærholm for Fritz Hansen in 1957 and is a rectangular table. The table has a table top in ash veneer and a base consisting of a steel frame with four legs in satin-brushed stainless steel. The PK55 has a minimalist design that can be combined with the PK11 chair, which has a more eye-catching design. Kjærholm's use of different materials and contrasting shapes creates a harmonious balance between hard and soft.
