Sigmund Writing Desk was created by Studio Asaï for the Arflex brand in 2019. The writing desk is part of the Sigmund series, which, with self-reflection and comfort at its core, is dedicated to the world-famous psychologist Freud. Besides the Sigmund Writing Desk, the series also includes a side table, a bench, a daybed, and a coffee table.
The Sigmund Writing Desk has a simple but original design that invites creativity and self-reflection. The desk consists of a larger marble top with rounded edges and a smaller shelf perfect for placing anything from a small table lamp to photographs and potted plants. The marble tops are available in Marquinia or Guatemala marble. The beautiful marble tops are supported by a black lacquered metal base joined with decorative brass screws.
