The motif, an open hand drawn by Le Corbusier in the 1950s, symbolizes the city of Chandigarh in India and represents his philosophy of generosity and sharing. Tapis La Main Ouverte is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, with as many as 72,300 hand-knotted knots per square meter, giving each piece of Tapis La Main Ouverte an impressive level of detail and meticulous execution.
