057 Civil Bench with cushion from Cassina was created by Pierre Jeanneret in 1955-1956. The stool is part of the Hommage à Pierre Jeanneret collection, which pays tribute to the designer's work. When designing the bench, the designer was inspired by modern, European ideals and traditional, Indian spirit. The 057 Civil Bench consists of three seat elements supported by a single front bar and two V-shaped side supports. The seat has the typical rattan weave that is visible throughout the collection. We offer the 057 Civil Bench comes in teak wood and has a seat cushion in one of Cassina's high quality fabrics and leathers. The bench also comes in a model without a cushion here.
