38.3V Floor is a floor lamp from the Canadian lighting company Bocci, designed by Omer Arbel. The lamp has a frame made of untreated brass or metal with a rubberized black finish that gives a silky, soft feel. Choose between heights of 90 and 180 cm. Whichever size you choose, the 38.3V Floor has three lightbulbs surrounded by spherical glass domes. The unique glass domes have been blown with a series of random internal cavities that interlock in an unobtrusive manner. The inner cavities can be filled with water or left empty. In the standard version, the 38.3V Floor has outer spheres made of clear glass while the inner spheres with cavities are made of milk-white glass. Soft and pleasant light spreads through the glass domes. For extra functionality, the 38.3V Floor is equipped with a stylish dimmer in brass. If you need more light, Bocci also offers a version of this lamp called 38.6V Floor, which is equipped with double the number of bulbs.
