In 2001, the founder of the Italian lighting company Artemides, Ernesto Gismondi, designed the floor lamp Metacolor, which creates a wide range of colorful atmospheres through RGB sources. It is made of methacrylate and steel. Metacolor includes a remote control that can be used to control the ten standard colors, create and memorize ten more and that you can use it to control the brightness.
