Porter is a household roll holder designed by Shane Schneck for the Danish brand HAY. The holder is made of wood and can be chosen in Pale Gray, Black or Oiled oak. With Porter, you place a roll of paper towels on a straight rod and then lock it in place by twisting the top of the rod, which also acts as a handle. A smart and stylish roll holder in one.
Designer Shane Schneck hails from the US but is based in Sweden where he founded his design studio in Stockholm in 2010. Schneck has an international outlook and attitude as he has also previously lived and worked in Milan with the Piero Lissoni studio. His work has received international recognition and won several awards such as iF, Red Dot, and Wallpaper Design Awards. Simple yet innovative products that challenge industry standards are what characterize Shane Schneck's approach to design.
