The enormous Noctambule 5 pendulum by Konstantin Grcic for the Italian lighting company Flos measures a whopping 269 centimeters. Despite its size, the pendant is only the second largest in the extensive collection which, besides pendants, also includes several floor lamps. Noctambule 5 does not emit any direct light, but only a soft general light from the discreetly placed LED lightbulbs between each cylinder. Although the Flos Noctambule 5 requires an extremely high ceiling height if you plan to use it as a traditional pendant, it also works well in environments with a lower ceiling height. This is because it is meant to replace the rooms floor lamps, allowing you to hang the lamp from the ceiling in a corner and leave the floor free of cords or stands. The lamp comes with a built-in dimmer and integrated LED lightbulbs.
