Big Bang is a pendant light from Foscarini that consists of several plates crossed on each other in an irregular pattern. It has a different appearance and immediately becomes an eye-catching detail in the room it is hanging in. The design is carefully crafted to provide a pleasant light without glare, and the designers behind the lamp are Enrico Franzolini and Vicente Garcia Jimenez. The plates are made of methacrylate and when assembled create a mixture of shadows, reflections, and light.
The appearance of the lamp can be likened to an explosion, which is why it is called Big Bang. It is elaborate in every detail and creates a blend of architecture and modern art. The lamp comes in three different sizes, all of which can be chosen in either white or red. It is also available with an extra-long cable, making it possible to group them at different levels.
