Het Franse bedrijf Fermob maakt al sinds het einde van de 19e eeuw stijlvolle tuinmeubelen. Het eerste meubel dat werd ontworpen was de nu iconische bistrostoel ontworpen door Edouard Leclerc. De ontwerper wilde een stoel creëren die gemakkelijk in te klappen was en gemakkelijk op trottoirs en in cafés kon worden geplaatst. De Bistro-stoel was een succes en is vandaag de dag over de hele wereld te vinden.

Sinds de doorbraak is Fermob buitenmeubilair blijven maken in slimme, duurzame en stijlvolle ontwerpen. Vandaag de dag zijn de meubels van het merk te vinden op een aantal van de beroemdste plekken ter wereld, zoals Times Square in New York, Versailles in Frankrijk, de Verboden Stad in Peking en duizenden privétuinen en balkons.

Iconisch buitenmeubilair met een duurzaam ontwerp

De buitenmeubelen van het bedrijf worden geleverd in een grote verscheidenheid aan heldere kleuren, wat Fermob tot een helder en modern merk maakt. De items zijn slim ontworpen om in hun omgeving te passen met een functioneel en speels ontwerp. Het assortiment van Fermob omvat tafels, stoelen en verlichting, allemaal voor buitengebruik. De meubels zijn ontworpen om te passen in zowel grote omgevingen zoals het kleinste balkon, thuis en in openbare omgevingen. Fermob heeft een duidelijke focus op duurzaamheid in al haar productie. Alle meubels kunnen buiten blijven staan omdat ze weerbestendig zijn en omdat ze gemaakt zijn van materialen zoals staal, aluminium en weerbestendige stoffen, gaan ze gegarandeerd lang mee.

Om de 125e verjaardag van zowel de Eiffeltoren als de iconische bistrostoel van het merk te vieren, creëerde Fermob in 2014 een miniversie van de Eiffeltoren. De installatie bestond uit 324 rode caféstoelen in de vorm van de Eiffeltoren en het aantal stoelen symboliseerde de hoogte van de toren van 324 meter.
