The Press Sphere Pendant comes from the Tom Dixon brand. The lamp consists of thick, transparent glass with a rounded, linear surface that forms a beautiful detail. The ribbed glass contributes to spreading the light source and creates striped patterns. The Press Sphere Pendant is made by dropping massive spheres of molten glass at 1200 degrees °C, which are then pressed into iron molds under tons of pressure to create extremely durable lamps. In the Press series, you will also find the pendant lamp Press Cone Pendant and the wall lamp Press Surface.
