The Platner Easy Chair was designed by Warren Platner for Knoll in 1966. The gold-plated version of the armchair was introduced in 2015 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Platner collection. The armchair is made of welded steel rods, which generate a moiré effect, unique to the Platner collection. The steel rods are gold-plated in 18-carat gold and covered with a transparent protective lacquer coating. The Platner Easy Chair has a rounded shell made of molded fiberglass and foam. The upholstery is available in a variety of colors, in velvet or approximately.
Platner Easy Chair is a comfortable armchair with a soft, elegant look. It can be complemented by the matching footstool from the same series by Knoll. The armchair is Greenguard certified.
