The Platner Easy Chair was designed by Warren Platner for Knoll in 1962. The chair is made of welded steel rods, which generate a moiré effect, unique to the Platner Chair. All metal components have a nickel finish and a transparent protective lacquer coating. The armchair shell is made of molded fiberglass and soft foam. The upholstery is available in several colors. Platner Easy Chair is a comfortable chair with a soft, elegant impression. It is complemented by the matching footrest in the same series from Knoll. The Platner collection also includes a chair, lounge chair, stool, as well as dining table and smaller tables.
