The Cache Console is a desk, alternatively console table, designed by American designer Paul McCobb in 1952. The table is produced by the Danish company Karakter. Cache Console has a base of narrow, straight legs in powder-coated steel. The black base is contrasted by a lacquered oak tabletop. In this version, the table comes without doors, but it is also available in a version with doors included. Complete the set with the Cache Desk Organizer, which makes it easy to keep your papers and other belongings in order.
The Cache Console is part of the extensive Planner series created by Paul McCobb in the early 1950s. McCobb was one of America's greatest designers of the mid-fifties and was the man who most successfully brought modern design into the American home. The series is characterized by sleek silhouettes, freed from unflattering decorations. With its sleekness and clean lines, Planner became one of the most successful furniture lines of its time.
