The knife has a VG-MAX steel core and 32 layers of Damascus steel on each side of the core. Each Shun knife has a unique damask pattern that highlights its individual character. The handle is made of laminated Pakka wood, sanded and polished with a glossy finish and hardness 61 HRC.
