Ripples Stool is a plywood stool made from five different types of wood by Italian company Horm and their in-house design team. The plywood of the stool comes from walnut, cherry, oak, beech, and mahogany. The seat is then beautifully beveled to highlight each woods character. The beveling provides good seating comfort despite the stool having no upholstery or cover at all.
Another nice detail is the brace placed between the sides of the stool. This comes in anodized aluminum which creates a nice contrast between materials while further enhancing the stools durability and stability.
