002 Ast Stool is a stool designed for the Finnish brand Vaarnii by designer Dimitri Bähler. 002 Ast Stool is designed with a focus on both strength and simplicity and with the aim that it should be a basic piece of furniture. The stool is made from the fat parts of solid pine which are then softened by gently curved edges.
Vaarnii believes that a stool should be easy to manufacture and easy to use. 002 Ast Stool lives up to this and not only has one area of use but can be used as everything from a side table to a bench and a seat.
