cc-tapis is a rug manufacturing company and is perhaps the most visible and communicative rug manufacturer in the world today. The company is headquartered in Milan but has offices in France and Italy. Patricia Urquiola, Mae Engelgeer, and Bethan Laura Wood are just a few of many designers who have contributed to the creation of unique rugs that help elevate the overall experience of a room.

The rugs are handcrafted by skilled artisans in their own facilities in Nepal and can be customized down to the smallest detail, regardless of size, shape, and color, for the ability to tailor and meet individual customer needs. Respect for the choice of materials and the culture of craftsmanship permeates every step of production—from the use of hand-spun Himalayan wool to the use of purified rainwater to wash the final products—making every cc-tapis rug unique.

Products that make a difference

The brand focuses on making a difference—with its products but also on a humanitarian level. In 2015, Nelcya Chamszadeh and Fabrizio Cantoniman founded a non-profit organization called cc- for education. Its aim is to provide education for children of their weavers in Nepal as a sign of gratitude and respect for their employees who dedicate their lives to the ancient art.
