Scopas is a pendant light designed by Neil Poulton for Italian Artemide in 2013. Scopas is made of aluminum, methacrylate, and ABS plastic and has the shape of an imperfect sphere. Depending on where you are in the room and the angle from which it is viewed, Scopas makes surprising changes to its appearance, making it complete in its imperfection. The otherwise mundane shape of the pendant takes on a new level, spreading a warm and inviting light via the integrated LED lamp.
Each piece of the Scopa measures 10 cm and in total the pendant has a width of 50 cm.
