Tolomeo has become a classic since Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina designed the first version for Artemide in 1987. Tolomeo 2 Bracci means Tolomeo 2 Arms in Italian, and the pendant light has two arms and diffusers that can be directed at different heights for a pleasant light. Tolomeo 2 Bracci was designed in 1996 and the arms and joints are made entirely of polished aluminum while the shade is made of matte aluminum. Light shades are not included.

Based on the flexibility of the Tolomeo, it has become a much-loved classic in many homes. The lamp body can be easily adjusted to direct the light where it is needed. Tolomeo is available in several versions, and what they all have in common is that they stand for simple function, elegance, and solid craftsmanship. In 1989, Tolomeo's designers were awarded the Compasso d'Oro.
