The Pipistrello Medium Table Lamp from Martinelli Luce is an iconic lamp and a piece of modern design history created by Gae Aulenti in 1965. Pipistrello Medium is the medium-sized model of the lamp, available in three sizes and several different finishes. Pipistrello Medium is dimmable and available in several different colors, the right version has a tasteful acacia green base. The design of the table lamp is characterised by the tapered telescopic base and shade in white methacrylate, shaped like four bat wings that are joined in the middle by a knob. Thanks to the telescopic foot, Pipistrello Medium has an adjustable height between 50 - 62 cm.
Pipistrello is also available in several sizes, shapes and variants with or without dimmer. The series has also been completed with a completely new battery-powered option. In 2015, a gold-plated anniversary edition was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Pipistrello.
