Minipistrello Brass is the smallest size Martinelli Luce's iconic Pipistrello lamp that has become a modern classic in lighting design. The Minipistrello Table Lamp comes in this version with touch dimmer for adjustable brightness. Designed by Gae Aulenti in 1965 in a unique design, the table lamp takes its rightful place in the room, acting as an eye-catching decorative object while spreading a stunning dimmable glow. The Minipipistrello is characterised by its tapered base and four-part shade, shaped like the wings of a bat, which are met in the middle by a knob. The shade is made of opal white methacrylate which lights up when the lamp is switched on. The Minipipistrello has a fixed lamp base that is available in several different colors and the knob in the middle of the shade comes in the same color as the base.
Pipistrello is also available in two larger sizes which have a telescopic foot that can be raised and lowered. The range has also been complemented by a completely new battery-powered option.In 2015, a gold-plated anniversary edition was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Pipistrello.
