The Pipistrello Table Lamp by Martinelli Luce is an iconic lamp and a piece of modern design history created by Gae Aulenti in 1965. Pipistrello Medium is the medium-sized model of the lamp, available in three sizes and several different finishes. Pipistrello Medium is dimmable and available in dark brown or white.
The design of the table lamp is characterised by the cone-shaped telescopic base in stainless steel and the shade in white methacrylate, shaped like four bat wings that are joined in the middle by a knob. Thanks to the telescopic foot, Pipistrello Medium has an adjustable height between 50 and 62 cm.
Pipistrello is also available in several sizes, shapes and variants with or without dimmer. The range has also been completed with a completely new battery-powered option. In 2015, a gold-plated anniversary edition was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Pipistrello.
