The core consists of Japanese powder steel SG2, known for its high carbon content and hardness that provides a razor-sharp edge. The knife blade has 192 layers of rust-resistant steel, 96 layers on each side, in a beautiful damask pattern. The black micarta handle has antibacterial properties and is decorated with a chrysanthemum.
