Akari UF1-H is a table lamp from Vitra designed by Isamu Noguchi in 1951 as part of the Akari lamp series. The Akari lamp series consists of lamps made by hand from shoji paper, paper made from the bark of mulberry trees. Akari UF1-H is designed in white and black shoji paper with a steel frame. The lamp is held up by four steel legs that are painted black. All light sculptures in the Akari series are marked with a logo representing the sun and the moon, which confirms the authenticity of each product.
