Akari 3X is a table lamp from Vitra designed by the artist and designer Isamu Noguchi in 1951. Akari 3X is part of the Akari lamp series, lamps handmade from shoji paper, paper made from the bark of mulberry trees. Akari 3X is designed in white shoji paper with a steel frame. The lamp is held up by four steel legs that are painted black. All light sculptures in the Akari series are marked with a logo representing the sun and the moon, which confirms the authenticity of each product.
