Pendant light A201 is a ceiling fixture created by Alvar Aalto in 1952 and relaunched recently by Artek. The lamp is made of powder-coated metal and has brass details. Pendant light A201 has a sculptural, stripped-down design very typical of fixtures and furniture created by Aalto. The lamp was originally designed for the library inside the town hall in Säynätsalo, Finland. The red version of the lamp can also be found above the dining table in Alvar Aalto's private home in Helsinki.
