Artek presents the Kori Pendant Light, part of the extensive Kori series, designed by TAF, a design and architecture agency based in Stockholm. Kori, which means basket in Finnish, refers to the central design idea that effectively combines both direct and indirect light to create a warm and welcoming environment. The series includes different types of lighting such as ceiling, table and floor lamps, and represents a fusion of aesthetics and practicality in an innovative way.
This elegant pendant lamp, the Kori Pendant Light, offers a sharp, yet non-glaring, illumination directed downwards, as well as a soft light radiating upwards. It is ideal for lighting smaller areas, such as above a serving unit, and can be used individually as a decorative light or arranged in a series to create a strong visual effect. The lamp is made in Italy and consists of recycled aluminum with a matt white powder coating.
