Wooden Doll Cat is designed by Alexander Girard for the brand Vitra. The decorative wooden figure was originally created for the designer's own home in Santa Fe. The design inspired by his large personal collection of ethnic art. Alexander Girard was, along with friends Charles and Ray Eames and George Nelson, one of the leaders in American post-war design. The wooden figure is made of pine and hand painted.
