La Chaise - Eames Special Collection was designed in 1948 by Charles & Ray Eames for Vitra. The lounge chair is part of the limited collection Eames Special Collection 2023. The chair was originally designed for a competition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The design is inspired by the sculpture "Floating Figure" by Gaston Lachaise. Today it is a real design icon with its exciting expression. The shell of the lounge chair is made of polyurethane and the base comes in American walnut and steel.
