Arka Lounge Chair Kulör is designed by Yngve Ekström year 1955. The chair is made of either solid beech or oak and is available in a variety of finishes. The name Arka is an abbreviation of the Roman arched pavements known as arcades. The original design can be found in the unique shape of the chair, which Yngve Ekstr designed from three circles. The design of the Arka Kulör lounge chair has become iconic and this original is manufactured at Stolab in Smålandsstenar. The Arka Lounge Chair is also available in an oiled or lacquered wood version.
