Inku Cake Stand is a large cake stand designed by Sergio Herman for Serax. The cake stand is made of stoneware and has a glazed surface. The dish stands on a foot that supports a platter with a decorative wavy edge.
Inspiration for the Inku series came from Japanese culture. Sergio Herman wanted to bring out the Japanese sense of imperfect perfection in his designs. The result was a sophisticated dinnerware series with clear references to shells, flower petals and the beautiful textures found in nature.
