The impressive Unseen Chandelier was designed in 2020 by Milan-based design studio Studio Pepe for Petite Friture of France. This magnificent lamp is a great example of when a lamp and a sculpture become one. The Unseen Chandelier has a height of two meters. The ceiling lamp consists of double LED tubes in different shapes that together to form a continuous luminaire. The Unseen Chandelier consists of fluorescent tubes made of silicone housed in polycarbonate tubes for optimal light diffusion. The lamp features brass details and sits in an elegant ceiling frame of brass and steel.
Unseen is a lighting range introduced in 2020 to mark the 10th anniversary of Petite Friture. The idea for Unseen came from the idea of recreating classic neon lighting, a task that proved challenging due to the technical difficulties of the light. In collaboration with Petite Friture, Studio Pepe succeeded in mastering the task and taking the light to new heights through authentic rendering of classic neon light combined with elegant brass details.
