Liila 1 is a minimalist luminaire in Scandinavian style, designed by Sofie Refer in 2018 for Nuura. The inspiration for this lamp came from the quality of natural Nordic light that Nuura, with innovative technology and elegant design, has managed to mimic throughout its collections. Liila 1 consists of a mouth-blown glass dome placed on a metal back plate with a silver or gold finish. The glass dome is available in two different finishes, opal and clear. Opal provides a diffuse, pleasant glow and optic has a unique, smooth pattern that creates a playful light in the room. Liila 1 comes in medium and large sizes. This elegant lamp is equally at home on the wall or on the ceiling and combining several creates a great effect. Liila 1 is available as a wall lamp and ceiling chandelier, Liila 12.
