The Cover Lounge Chair was designed by designer Thomas Bentzen in 2019 for Danish brand Muuto and is a newcomer after the Cover Chair. The chair is designed based on a strong desire to create a proud chair with a sharp and lively look. The chair is made entirely of wood and has a folding part at the armrest, which is an innovative way of holding the armchair together. The Cover Lounge Chair is available in a variety of finishes, with or without a Kvadrat textile or Camo aniline leather cover.The oak version has a solid oak frame and a seat and back in molded oak veneer. The fun lacquered versions have an ash veneer seat and back with a solid beech wood frame. Thomas Bentzen used compression molding to the utmost in the creation of the Cover Lounge Chair. An appealing lounge chair that is durable and has a shape that is equally at home in a group around a coffee table or on its own in any setting.
