Front is a Swedish design duo based in Stockholm consisting of Anna Lindgren and Sofia Lagerkvist. The duo has worked extensively with Moooi since the beginning and designed, among other things, the Pig Table, Chess Table and Blow Away Vase. According to Front, Serpentine Light was an experiment in which they manipulated a simple material to create a complex form. The challenge was to thoughtfully explore how basic materials can be used to create fascinating shapes and patterns.
