The Serpente Floor Lamp by Martinelli Luce was designed by the founder of the brand Elio Martinelli and introduced in 1965. Elio Martinelli has spent his entire career enriching both the public environment and the home with functional and beautiful lighting such as Serpente.

The name Serpente comes from the Italian word for snake, which is reflected in the shapes of the curved structure of the floor lamp, with a swivelling luminaire for adjustable direction of light. The floor lamp is made of white lacquered metal with an opal white methacrylate shade. The entire shade is illuminated when the lamp is switched on and the lamp spreads a warm white glow in the room. Comes with a black cord.

In 2015, the Serpente table lamp was also introduced in a commemorative gold finish to celebrate the lamp's 50th anniversary.
