Proust Lowchair is a chair designed by Alessandro Mendini in 2011 for the Italian design laboratory Magis. The chair is made of rotationally moulded polyethylene and is therefore also suitable for outdoor use. The design is in a romantic style with Baroque influences and you can choose from several different colors such as red, blue, white and black as well as a multi-colored one with hand-painted dots. The Proust Lowchair is a new era of traditional furniture that will definitely attract attention. Suitable for the living room as well as the patio.
The Proust chair has been produced since 1978 in a variety of versions.In 2011, Alessandro Mendini decided to redesign it and bring it into more modern times, where technology can bring new energy to the chair. A classic of yesteryear that looks elegant in any home.
