Ploum Footstool is a footstool designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Ligne Roset in 2011. The footstool is part of the Ploum series, the result of a lot of research on comfort and composed of two materials that offer generous space and a high level of comfort. The asymmetrical design with a higher back and deeper seat on one side of the sofa allows for a number of different positions to be taken. The seat of the largest model is designed with a slightly closed angle that encourages close contact and conversation. Ploum was designed for a modern lifestyle where flexibility of use and comfort are essential to match all the tasks of everyday life.
