Tube is a lamp designed by the well-known designer Lee Broom in 2014 and produced under his own brand of the same name. Tube is a more modern interpretation of the traditional fluorescent tube. The tube itself is handmade from a single piece of Carrara marble. The marble tube contains a dimmable LED lightbulb that creates a warm and atmospheric illumination. The tube has end knobs made from steel and is available in two finishes, brushed brass finish or polished chrome.
Lee Broom describes Tube as a warm glowing stone when lit. Thanks to the characteristics of the Carrara marble, each Tube is unique in its marbling and makes a beautiful interior design accessory in the home. For example, Tube as a pendant lamp is ideal for placing over a dining table or kitchen island. Tube is also available as a wall lamp.
