The Platner Stool was designed by Warren Platner for Knoll in 1966. The stool is made from multiple bent and welded steel rods, which generate a marble effect unique to the Platner collection. The stool has a round seat made of molded fiberglass and foam. The upholstery is available in a variety of colors, in velvet or other. The metal base is available in two variants, painted in a matte metallic bronze color or plated with bright nickel. The base is also coated with a transparent protective lacquer. The Platner Stool is Greenguard certified.
Platner Stool is a comfortable stool with a soft, elegant feel. It can be complemented with any of the chairs from the same series from Knoll. The Platner collection also includes a chair, armchair, side table, and dining and coffee tables.
