The Star armchair was designed by Swedish furniture designer Mats Theselius in 2009 and is produced by Källemo. Star has a base made of chrome-plated steel and the seat and back are upholstered with cold foam. Upholstery is available in a variety of fabrics, or leather from Elmosoft or Tärnsjöläder in a selection of colors. The armchair has higher back support and a seat height of 44 cm, which makes Star suitable for both the private office and the hall or wherever you simply want an extra seat. Throughout Mats' various products, the clear influences that his interests have on the design and choice of materials are evident. Star is an example of his fascination with music, and more specifically drums. The construction of the legs and the design of the armchair itself draw similarities to a drum set.
