The Nelson Ball Wall Sconce is a classic wall lamp from Danish HAY, designed by George Nelson in 1952. In terms of the lampshade, the wall lamp is identical to the pendants from the Nelson Bubble collection, but has here been provided with beautiful details in both brass and brushed nickel for a luxurious and classic expression. The shade consists of a thin fabric spun over a light metal construction, almost like a cocoon, which gives the light a wonderfully soft spread. However, the material's charm only comes when illuminated, when the light makes the "cocoon" almost appear to be glowing.
