The chair has a design reminiscent of the legendary Spanish chair with its wide armrests and sturdy construction. The frame is made of oak while the seat and backrest are made of canvas. A seat cushion in matching fabric can be added to The Canvas Chair for extra comfort. The natural materials highlight the function-driven design that has become typical of Mogensen. Horizontal and vertical lines provide a sense of balance.
The Canvas Chair was designed as a reaction to the pristine furniture that dominated the 1960s. The chair is just as relevant today as it was when it was launched, with its clean and simple design.
