Bilia Mini is a lamp designed by Gio Ponti in 1932 for the Italian brand FontanaArte. The lamp consists of a glass globe balanced on a conical metal base that can be chosen in several ways. The counterbalance between the two geometric shapes results in a unique, perfectly proportioned object. The lamp originally came in the larger Bilia size. When Gio Ponti designed the lamp, he created a smaller version in a range of spray colors, and then presented the Bilia Mini.
