Luci dOro is a collection of lamps from Catellani Smith and comes here as a floor lamp. Luci dOro is created by Enzo Catellani with inspiration from the warmth and scale of the sun and fire and was presented in 2000 in Tribeca, New York. The floor lamp is made of waxed wrought iron and at the top is a circular plate covered with shiny gold, silver, or copper leaves. A flexible metal arm holds a dimmable LED lamp that is directed towards the plate. The metal reflects the light from the lamp, which recreates the light from the sun and the golden light of fire that Catellani had in mind when he designed the lamp.
