The RF1903L Sideways Sofa is a beautifully curved sofa designed by Rikke Frost for the Danish brand Carl Hansen & Søn. The sofa's curved shape invites more social use in groups as well as a cozy corner to curl up in when alone. This specific model, RF1903L, is left-facing, but the brand also offers the right-facing model RF1903R. The backrest has been steamed and then bent into the fine, flowing shape that neatly frames the well-padded cushions. At the back, a large number of woven paper cords are placed, allowing for free placement of the RF1903L Sideways Sofa in the middle of the room, as the sofa is equally pleasant to look at from behind.
